Salomon City Trail 2015 press conference in CityLife

Salomon City Trail ™ Milan 2015 was presented on June 30^th inside one of the residences designed by Zaha Hadid in CityLife, Milano. The trail will take place on Sunday, September 20^th  2015 and it will  start and finish at the Arena. A unique race, an urban trail, where you can discover uncommon and inaccessible places of Milan that will be open only for the runners who will join the race.

A route largely renovated compared to the last edition and that has two big new entries, involving the area of ​​CityLife: the large green park of CityLife and the Allianz Tower, the impressive skyscraper designed by Arata Isozaki and Andrea Maffei. The CityLife park will be, at project completed, the second park of the city, with its 173,000 square meters and its 1,500 trees. The Allianz Tower is the biggest attraction of the 2015 edition,  expected only in the formula "hard", for the expert runners. After crossing the CityLife Park, the athletes will start the ascent of the 557 steps that lead to the 20th floor, for an overall ascent of 87 meters from the starting point. A unique experience for athletes who want to challenge themselves in this endeavour. The Allianz trophy will be awarded to the best athletes, on the base of the partial times of the path in the Tower.
