Salomon City Trail: for the first time in CityLife Park

Sunday 20th September the 2015 Salomon City Trail ™ Milan took place. It’s a race unique, an urban trail, to  discover uncommon and inaccessible places of Milan open only for the runners who joined the race. For the first time, the race involved the large green park of CityLife that will be, at project completed, the second park of the city, with its 173,000 square meters and its 1,500 trees. The Allianz Tower, the impressive skyscraper designed by Arata Isozaki and Andrea Maffei, has been the biggest attraction of the formula “hard”: the runners climbed 20 floors and 557 steps for an overall ascent of 87 meters from the starting point. More than 2 thousand people (500 women) run on Sunday: a big success. The 26yo Fabio De Angeli won the formula hard and for the women race Simona Baracetti – that works in the CityLife area - won for the second time after the 2014 victory.
