CityLife is Milan’s new district, born from the transformation of the former Trade Fair area. A sustainable urban model combining residential buildings, offices, shops, services, and vast green spaces for an enhanced quality of life.
Following an international competition, CityLife S.p.A. was awarded the redevelopment of the former Fiera Campionaria area with a project designed by world-renowned architects Zaha Hadid, Arata Isozaki, and Daniel Libeskind. The residential buildings, designed by Zaha Hadid on Via Senofonte and by Daniel Libeskind on Via Spinola, offer a new standard of urban living, overlooking both the prestigious Piazza Giulio Cesare and the expansive public park.
At the heart of CityLife lies the Business & Shopping District, featuring the iconic Three Towers for office use and a vibrant commercial area with premium retail, services, and dining, all directly connected to Milan’s Metro Line 5. The district will be completed by CityWave, a striking new project by international firm BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, composed of office and retail buildings united by a sweeping canopy structure above a large green space, serving as a gateway from Largo Domodossola.
CityLife is now a global benchmark for sustainable urban transformation, and the first district in the world to achieve Platinum certification in LEED for Cities and Communities, WELL for Community, and SITES for Existing Landscape. These certifications recognize excellence in urban regeneration and the creation of a resilient and inclusive community. CityLife is a company fully owned by the Generali Group.
