CityWave celebrates a key milestone in its development
With around 200 days to go before completion, CityWave marks a key milestone in its development: the completion of the main structural works of the canopy—the majestic wave-shaped roof that defines the project designed by the international studio BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group.
The milestone was also shared with the press during a project update, as the expected completion in December 2026 approaches, in the presence of Aldo Mazzocco, Chairman of CityLife SpA and CEO of Generali Real Estate SpA, Paolo Micucci, CEO of CityLife SpA, and Marco Beccati, Technical Director of CityLife SpA.
The privileged viewpoint from the 27th floor of the PwC Tower offered a comprehensive overview of the main construction phases—particularly the recent concrete pour of the segment at the highest point of the structure, a central step in the construction of the canopy that marks the completion of the building’s primary structural works.
This was a particularly complex engineering operation due to the steep slope at height, successfully carried out in full safety by highly specialized personnel, demonstrating the project’s high level of innovation and construction quality.
With the structural works now complete, the construction site is entering a new phase, which includes the installation of photovoltaic panels, the enclosure of the building with the installation of the final façade units, the development of external landscaping, and the progressive advancement of interior finishes.
The marketing of the available spaces is handled by CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield.
