Naming of Italo Calvino Street in the CityLife Park

The ceremony was attended by:
 • Tommaso Sacchi, City Councilor for Culture
 • Giulia Pelucchi, President of Municipality 8
 • Roberto Russo, CEO of SmartCityLife
 • Actors from the Piccolo Teatro, Matteo Cecchi and Diamara Ferrero, who gave a reading of excerpts from The Baron in the Trees
 • Art historian and popularizer Jacopo Veneziani, who spoke about the relationship between Italo Calvino and art

During the morning, we unveiled six graphic works created by students from class 3^1 of the Boccioni Art High School as part of their work-study program (PCTO), installed along the street; awarded the winning students from Brera Art High School in the second edition of the DigitalArt Competition for Milanese art high schools; and inaugurated, at the Orti Fioriti, an exhibition of drawings by class 4^F students from the Rinnovata Pizzigoni School.
