The architect
Zaha Hadid was one of the most influential architects of our time. Winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2004 and the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011, she is recognized as a pioneer of deconstructivist architecture. Born in Baghdad and naturalized British, Hadid revolutionized architectural language with her fluid, dynamic, and visionary forms. At CityLife, she designed the iconic curves of the Generali Tower—an emblem of architectural innovation in the heart of Milan. Her works reflect a constant dialogue between art, urbanism, and design. She was the first woman to receive the RIBA Royal Gold Medal, leaving a lasting mark on the history of contemporary architecture.

The design vision
Overlooking CityLife Park and Piazza Giulio Cesare, each building stands out for its fluid, staggered balconies and sloped roofs, creating a dynamic skyline that shifts from every angle. The residences feature elegant, sculptural forms enhanced by natural wood and fiber cement panels that bring movement to the facades. The organic exterior lines flow into the interiors, where curved walls, rounded corners, and unique window shapes define each space. From stylish two-bedrooms to luxury penthouses, every Hadid Residence is tailored for modern living and offers generous outdoor terraces.

Innovation and e sustainability

Designed by world-renowned architects Hadid, Isozaki, and Libeskind, CityLife is home to the iconic Three Towers and CityLife Shopping District. As the first district globally to achieve LEED, WELL, and SITES Platinum certifications, CityLife sets a global standard for green urban regeneration. Fully car-free and served by Metro Line 5, it’s where Milan lives, works, and thrives.
